Product Review (and free sample!): Maple Holistic's Tea Tree Shampoo

Image
Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Set Tea Tree Oil Shampoo This is the product Maple Holistics sent me. I've never been big on the "organic and all-natural" movement, but I rarely turn down an opportunity for free stuff. When Maple Holistics  reached out and offered me free shampoo in exchange for a review, I figured, "What do I have to lose?" Nothing. I had nothing to lose. AND I GAINED EVERYTHING! Okay, okay, a bit dramatic. But hey, when you live your entire life with dandruff and eczema, an itchy, flaky head is no joke. This is gross — and maybe TMI — but I've reached a point where scratching my head and coming away with bloody nails isn't that uncommon. The skin is just so irritated! Or it was, before this shampoo. Maybe I should give the organic, all-natural movement a second look, because dang, this stuff really works .

Introducing The College Chronicles

Image
So some of you may have noticed that I'm currently in college. Yes, that's right, I am officially an Elementary Education major attending university in Indiana. I've been texting around photos of stuff like chapel or my new haircut. OKAY yeah sorry got a bit carried away there.... but TADA! I AM CLAUDIA DONOVAN. Or... you know, almost. Not quite to her level of sarcasm and genius yet. Nor, sadly, do I work at Warehouse 13. But whatever, I've got the hair down. Anyway... the point of this post is just to announce an upcoming series in which I write posts (and/or possibly VLOG yes I mean vlog!) about college. You know, from my random individual freshman point of view. It will be called The College Chronicles and I really don't know anything else yet. So stay tuned!

Before (I took an insane number of selfies before the cut. I kid you not: I have more selfies than senior photos, I think. Let's just say I went a little shutter-happy?) Yeah, the lighting's better in some than others... but I'm working with an absolutely awful cell phone camera.  That's about as good as they get.  Anyway... AFTER ! So what do you think?

30 Day Challenge: Day 27 - A Physical Feature You Love

{via} Hair. And not just mine, either - although that is, in my opinion, my best feature.  (I wrote a blog post about my hair, once, and talked about donating hair to making wigs for sick kids going bald.)  Hair is generally the first thing I notice about a person, whether it's my first time meeting them or we're best friends.  I don't know why.  My eyes are just drawn to hair. :P {via}  {via}   For laughs. ;) {via}

My (mostly)strawberry-(just slightly)blond hair is my favorite feature.  I would say it's my best, but there are people reading this who would disagree.  So we'll stick with "favorite." I recently received a postcard in the mail.  That in itself is not exactly a big deal... except this was my Locks of Love donor recognition postcard!
