Raggedy Anne Seriously, 'r' should not be this hard.  It took me forever to think of something, and I decided to just take Random Red photos of stuff around the house.  Here's some other photos with red: Nick's  red Crocs the plastic red scissor and hole punch basket and Adam, our current babysittee, wearing a red shirt and eating red Jell-O

Queer Quackers! Have you any idea how difficult it is to think of words that start with 'q' - much less words you have photos to match!

Play-Doh! Well, what was I supposed to put?  I don't have photos of a pelican, or packing peanuts, or pots, or anything else I could come up with.

Okinawa. Today's post is a little long, but bear with me. These are my top picks from three years' worth of photos. the beach at Camp Schwab a common site: a native with a bike a habiscus, the famous Okinawa flower, in my backyard (literally) our next-door neighbor's palm trees (no, we didn't live on the beach) another flower growing in our backyard our next-door neighbor's bench the view from the mountain we all climbed at summer camp the fields at Pineapple Park the Pineapple Park's signature pinapple carts As a military brat, you always end up missing the places you've been and the people you've met - whether you liked them initially or not.  Today I'm missing Okinawa.  Is there someplace or someone you're missing today?

Nathan. My boyfriend. :) Yup, the one with stunning eyes and big dreams. Oh, and that's my brother Eddie on the left.  You know, all three of us have this photo as our Facebook profile picture, and that makes things really confusing. :P

Miniature Cupcakes This is my last cupcake post for the year, I promise!  But when I came to 'm,' all I could think was 'my' or 'mini'... so then I thought of the millions of mini cupcakes we made for Cupcake Day 2011! From right: my wonderful mother, who gave up her only sleep-in Saturday this month to get us to the church and bake all day; my brother Jon; and Joseph, a volunteer from the middle school group.  In the left/background area, you can see my brother Eddie's head behind another volunteer, RJ. My mother's and friend Hannah's hands frosting the first of the cupcakes. Cupcakes! Yum. :) And more cupcakes! Only prettier this time ;) My best friend Ashlee and my boyfriend Nathan passing out cupcakes and flyers to church members by one of the main doors.

Laughter It shouldn't be this hard to find a photo of me very obviously laughing, since so many people seem to take photos while I'm laughing. But, of course, I only have this one since most of my photos have me behind the camera. Here's another one I found: Love. Kinda random.  A heart I drew in the snow back in January.  (Snow! In Georgia! After three years on a tropical island! It was amazing... :] )

Kids! Haha.  I don't have any photos of kangaroos (why do I always think of animals first?), but I have plenty of kid photos!  This one's Bella . :)  Did I mention she moved while I was at camp? :( This would be Hannah, my little fourth of July model.  She's Mikaela's little monkey of a sister. Random child from the church nursery.  His name's Reed. (Or is this one Ethan? They're unrelated, but they look so much alike!) Finally, Becca.  Who did the 'toe-painting' in the last of  these photos.   And who has also moved away.

July (Okay, so I cheated. This was the year I decided my birthday and Christmas were too close together, so I celebrated my half-birthday. My real birthday's in January, but that starts with a J too...) Ugh, a hideous photo. But it was taken at the church's Independence Day potluck back when we lived in Oki, so it qualifies for July. One of the many teen meetings back in Oki.  Our church didn't have a teen group, so Eddie and I joined the other church's teen meetings on Fridays.  Lots of memories...

Idiotic, crazy fun. Taking flash photos in the pitch black night on the eight floor balcony... Jumping off the sea wall... Slicing a pile of flour and trying not to knock over the Hershey kiss... Letting a three-year-old paint your toes... I mean toenails.

Hippie Photos! Once upon a time my Grandpa went with my Grandma, who buys clothes for us a lot, and picked out a shirt for me.  Then one day I was wearing said shirt and had yet to do my hair, so it had fallen into its natural middle part.  I thought, "Hey, looks like a 70's hippie."  On a whim I grabbed the headband/necklace and empty Coke bottle off my dresser for a photo shoot. I then deleted all the photos but one, which I promised myself nobody would ever see.  But today I couldn't find any other h photos and figured, why not? So now you know how zany I can get.  Although this is really rather mild, all things considered....

Gorgeous views. This is the view from the VIP cabin at Camp Schwab in Oki.  My friend Beth invited the Twins, Haley, and myself to celebrate her birthday with midnight walks on the beach, wonderful romantic teen movies, hilarious gummy worm photo shoots, and embarrassing cave explorations. Today, I guess G also stands for Good Memories.  I may not have wanted to get attached, but I have so many friends and memories from Oki.  That's another story for another day, though.
